ASST. DIESEL MECHANIC
Description

Provide support to Lead Mechanics and perform duties such as changing oil and filters, replacing hoses and belts, and helping to diagnose equipment and vehicle issues.
>Primary functions:
•Assist in performing major & minor repairs, inspection, providing a checklist of all equipment e.g. diesel engine overhaul, hydraulic cylinders, transmissions, air valves, pneumatic cylinders, etc.

•Assist in performing preventive and routine maintenance as per maintenance plan, e.g. oil change, filters, fan belts, etc.

•Reports completion of tasks assigned and indicates need for additional maintenance to appropriate personnel.
•Understands and follows all safety rules and proper procedures associated with the responsibilities of the job.

•Perform duty in worksite and construction projects.

•Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Foreman and supervisor.
•Age between 22-45 years old, energetic, in good health, and has a strong personality.
•Knows how to speak and write in English.

Responsibilities

•Gulf Experience is an advantage.
Specific skills and knowledge:
•Ability to read drawings, schematics, reference manuals and OEM recommendations.

•Should be able to use and understand an array of tools and technical equipment.

•Ability and initiative to successfully maintain and repair equipment within an acceptable time frame and minimum cost.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Experience:
•At least 4 years of field experience with technical school certificate.
